So My teachers are all pretty kool.
They all love what they teach. So that will help the semester fly by.
My Econ teacher moved to the US 20 years ago from China, and he still has a slight accent. It's a good thing accents don't distract me. He also asked us not to take notes. He is given us all of them... Which I find kinda crazy.
My speech teacher is super energetic. Her and her Husband own a cigar and wine bar... which I find kool.
My history teacher likes to make sports and movie referances. Which will make it easier to pay attention.
My Trig teacher seems like she just got her masters not to long ago (no more then 3 years ago). But she likes to joke around, which is important with math.
I don't go to Phycology until Thursday night. So we will see what that teacher is like.
The more I look into transferring to UNC in Charlotte the more I like it! I'm thinking that's the school for me! I need to get mostly A's this semester and then I should get in perfectly fine. Wish me luck!
I need some advice about something... but it can't be from anyone involved... and I don't know who to go to....

So this weekend was suppose to be great right?
First off we knew my oldest niece was sick. But then she broke out in a horrible rash (that looks like ring worm) and her joints started to swell (her ankle and hand). Her strep caused her to get HSP. So we had an ER trip in the middle of my dad's birthday dinner. It was suppose to be less painful if we gave her Tylenol and Motrin alternating and Benadryl for the itchiness. but its not helping so she's going to the doctor today to get steroids more then likely to get rid of the swelling at least.
HSP is basically when you have a infection of the throat that later turns into an allergy like reaction(sometimes even after the infection is being treated, which it was in her case). In sever cases it can cause liver and bowel failure.. it's more common in kids. She had a much less sever case, which means swelling of joints as well as a rash. It can last up to 2-6 weeks.
Then last night my nephew had to go to the ER. He couldn't breath properly. He has asthma, but the reason he couldn't breath properly was because, guess what, strep. This was about 3 hours ago that they left. They just got back at 6 am.
great weekend right?
and today I had to take work off so that I could help my mom handle the little niece and my nephew while my sister is in an all day interview. Wish her luck!

hope it all works out for all of you.... *hugs*
i'm so sorry hun *hugs tight*
good luck to your sister though :)
Your family seems close. A bane and a boon, but you were there for them on many levels.
Is this what you are talking about? Henoch-Schönlein Purpura? I am so sorry if this is what they have. Hopefully from what I have read it will clear up. What a thing for kids to have to go through. I hope it all works out. You have my best wishes for a speedy recovery. Hope the interview was succesful!
I just found out last night that my sister that lives in upstate NY will be here Friday night! with Baby Tink!(my youngest niece). I'm so excited! lili has had surgery on her arm since the last time I saw her... she's only 9 months old. So it will be nice to see the progress first hand!
I haven't seen either of them since April... seems like longer...
So I now have all my books for classes. all 6 of them. I'm ready for school to start up mainly because then I don't have to work as much at a place I get bored so quickly at.
So today is my dad's birthday. I gave him his birthday present from me and my sister this morning before I left for work.
My parents, my sisters, and I all have loved starwars since it came out. (books included) We also have all always liked Legos. So I decided while we were at the Lego store last week that combining them would be a perfect gift.
My sister and I got him 3 starwars lego guys(Obi-Wan Kenobi, Chewbacca and Darth Vader) and two ships. The Hyena Droid Bomber and The Anakin’s Jedi Starfighter. He asked as soon as he saw them who is going to build them lol. He owns his own company so he works a lot. But he loved them so that's what matters.

Sounds like a perfect gift to me, its always amazing when you can combine multiple things someone enjoys into 1 gift.
